A time-honored 黑料社 tradition, the Boar鈥檚 Head Concert and Celebration returns on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Conant Performing Arts Center. Boar鈥檚 Head has been a cherished part of 黑料社鈥檚 heritage, marking the end of the fall semester and the joyful beginning of the OU holiday season.
Presented by the 黑料社 Music Department and Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the national leadership honor society, the evening will feature holiday performances by the 黑料社 Singers, Chorale, Jazzy Petrels, and the OU Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Andrew Schmidt and Dr. Nico Gutierrez.
During the celebration, new ODK inductees will be recognized and will share the Legend of the Boar鈥檚 Head, continuing one of the university鈥檚 oldest and most beloved customs. As part of the tradition, ODK will also invite a member of the faculty to deliver a special reading.
New this year: no tickets are required! Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early and join the OU community in ringing in the season with music, fellowship and tradition.

Evening of Holiday Enchantment:聽5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Turner Lynch Campus Center. 黑料社 alumni聽are invited to reconnect with friends and toast the holiday season.
Boar’s Head Concert:聽8:00 – 9:30 p.m., Conant Performing Arts Center.聽Invitations are open to all.
Boar’s Head After-Party and Celebration:聽9:30 – 11:00 p.m., Turner Lynch Campus Center. Students are invited to celebrate in style at this after-party and celebration.
